Turtle Island Park lies 40km north of SANDAKAN . The park comprises THREE ISLAND , SELINGAN , GULISAN and BAKUNGAN KECHIL . It covers an area of 1,740 hectares , includes the surrounding reefs and seas . TWO SPECIAL TURTLE - GREENS and HAWKSBILLS are special features of this park . Throughout the year , they lay their eggs at night .

From SANDAKAN HARBOUR , takes about 1 hour by speedboat . The driest months and calmest seas are between MARCH and JULY . The peak egg laying season is JULY to OCTOBER . The seas can get rough between OCTOBER and FEBRUARY.

Johor is the place to be right now. After the opening of Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) in December, at least tens of thousands are waiting for Legoland theme park to open on September 15. Johor is not planning to slow down anytime soon because Hello Kitty Town will be the newest addition to the already-awesome spots list come October 26.

Located at Nusajaya Johor, Hello Kitty Town will be a part of Puteri Harbour Indoor Family Theme Park. The 4-storey entertainment centre will host walk-through attractions, play structures, various interactive activities and a Hello Kitty-themed rides. Key features include Black Wonder – a hi-tech interactive themed experience, Kitty House – an iconic Hello Kitty house complete with living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, The “Purrfect” stage will house Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars among others.

A wide array of activities will keep your little ones excited and busy – including  jewellery-making , costume party, paint your nail or bake cookies at Wishful Studio . They sound perfect for a mummy-daughter quality time! Visitors could also get a chance to immortalise the feline-galore moments by taking pictures with Hello Kitty and friends. And if the kids are in love with the park (which we believe they would), you can even organise a birthday celebration with Hello Kitty at the dreamy Apple and Strawberry party rooms.
